Rade B. Vukmir
M.D., J.D., FACEP, FCCP, FACHE
He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, the American College of Chest Physicians and the American College of Health Care Executives.
Dr. Vukmir received medical and legal degrees from the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. He completed a residency program in Emergency Medicine and a Critical Care fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh.
He is a certified instructor of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and a member of the Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT).
Dr. Vukmir also has a juris doctorate and a Certificate in Health Law. Current interests include management of medicolegal risk, emergency department efficiency, and personnel management.
He is in his eighteenth year of full time clinical emergency medicine practice and is licensed in PA, OH, WV, FL, HI, NY, OK, TX and GA.
He is the author of thirty-nine medical journal articles, as well as five books and has been the recipient of two emergency medicine teaching awards.
